SIN 379, Issue 1.2, BT NetStream 16 & BT NetStream 16 Longline - Service Description.
NetStream 16 is a Synchronous Digital Hierarchy point to point leased Virtual Container VC4 high-speed digital service supporting customer access which conforms to ITU-T Rec. G.707. NetStream 16 Longline enables a number of digital leased lines at satellite sites to be aggregated for onward delivery to an SDH Mux at a common major customer site and presented as a structured VC4 via an STM-N interface (where N = 1,4,16). This up-issue to the SIN introduces an STM-1 optical customer interface option. Further information relating to STM-1 SDH customer interfaces is contained in SIN 333 'SDH Customer Interfaces at the STM-N level (where N=1,4,16)'. SIN 407 Issue 1.2 - BT L-Band Relay Service Description
The BT L-band Relay service provides unidirectional transmission over optical fibre of signals in the frequency range commonly known as ‘L-band’. A single electrical feed of signals contained within the L-band range of frequencies is taken from the signals received from a satellite. This is then split (depending on the number of customer sites served), and fed via an optical modulator, which will then transmit the signals via optical fibre to the customer site.  This up-issue removes the Terminal Equipment Approval Requirements section from the SIN.

In this issue sections 2.1, 2.2, and 3.3 have been amended to clarify that "enhanced" services (Constant Bit Rate and Variable Bit Rate real-time) are restricted to particular Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers in the network, and that End User Accesses of these particular service categories must be supported on Virtual Paths of an equivalent service category.

SIN 243 Issue 4.0 - BT ISDN Services ISDN International Interworking

SIN 284 Issue 1.2 - BT RedCARE Service Description & Technical Information
This Suppliers Information Note gives information about the BT RedCARE Service which is provided from Protected Premises over the BT analogue local access network and the BT RedCARE network to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Issue 1.2 of the SIN describes a 10/100Base Ethernet option for ARC interface to the RedCARE network. SIN 404 Issue 1.0 - BT DataStream Symmetric

SIN 405 Issue 1.0 - BT IPStream Symmetric
SIN 405 has been published to replace STIN 405 in preparation for the launch of BT IPStream Symmetric. Clarification on traffic shaping has been added to section 3.3.2.4 and the clause on approval requirements has been removed.

SPIN 078 - BT DataStream Symmetric
This SPIN outlines BT's plans for the introduction of BT DataStream Symmetric, an additional product in BT's DataStream Portfolio based upon SHDSL technology. SPIN 078 replaces SPIN 072, issued in February 2003, and contains additional and amended information.

SPIN 079 - BT IPStream Symmetric
The purpose of this information note is to outline the introduction of BT IPStream Symmetric, an additional product in BT’s IPStream Portfolio that is based upon SHDSL technology . SIN 413 Issue 1.1 - Fixed Line SMS Service, Service Description and Interface Specification
This SIN provides information about the launch of BT's Fixed Line Short Message Service. This will provide users of fixed line telephones with a messaging service similar to that currently available to mobile telephone users. Issue 1.1 further describes the SMS Voice Mailbox Interface in Section 4, provides further detail relating to Protocol 1 in Section 3.5.1, and clarifies information relating to presentation numbers in Section 2.1. SIN 360 describes the characteristics of Ethernet Interfaces used in the BT Network . This up-issue increases the scope of the document to include 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet interfaces.

SIN 349 Issue 1.4 - BT Metallic Path Facility Interface Description
This Suppliers Information Note (SIN) describes the technical characteristics of the BT Metallic Path Facility (MPF). This up-issue edits Section 5.1 to give additional guidance when testing the parameters of an MPF.

SIN 344, Issue 2.0, 'BT Analogue Multipoint Service Repeal of Withdrawal Notification'
This SIN notified BT's plan for the continuation of the Analogue Multipoint Service. The SIN also drew attention to the limited availability of Multipoint apparatus which had been causing problems in fulfilling new Multipoint circuit provisions. BT is pleased to advise that the short fall in apparatus has been overcome, and as such the content of SIN 344 no longer appropriate to be published. SIN 333 Issue 1.2 - SDH Customer Interfaces At the STM-N level (where N=1,4,16), Interface Characteristics
This SIN describes the characteristics of SDH customer interfaces to the BT Network at STM-N level (where N=1,4,16) to support VC-12, VC-3 and other VC-4 payloads (e.g. 140Mbit/s ATM, IP). The up-issue to 1.2 replaces reference to ITU-T Recommendation G.958 
(withdrawn by ITU-T) with reference to ITU-T Recommendations G.783 & G.798 (the content of G.958 is contained within these recommendations). This up-issue also removes the Terminal Equipment Approval Requirements section from the SIN.

SIN 395, Issue 1.0, 'MacroNet High Speed MPLS- Service Description'
The content of the publication, describing GigaBit Ethernet interface to the IP VPN service hosted on BT's Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) platform, has recently been rationalised into SIN 385 'IP Clear - Service Description'. SIN 385 Issue 2.1 (published 7 May 2003) declares the full range of Ethernet, DSL, and Leased Line access options to BT's IP VPN service.
